Opus Hotel Vancouver

O Come All Ye Faithful Shoppers
‘Tis the season to love thy neighbour, honour thy father and thy mother, and covet thy personal space. To celebrate, Opus is offering special December stay-over rates starting as low as CAD $179. Whether you're entertaining relatives from out of town or trying to escape them, Opus invites you to come celebrate with us. Best of all, our promise to you this holiday season: no annoying choirs singing spirited holiday jingles in the lobby. For those feeling more generous than the usual re-gifting and self-gifting, Opus also has gift certificates for any room type or package.

Dare to Disturb: Opus Anniversary Party
On October 9, clients and friends gathered at Opus to celebrate its first anniversary. Opus had much to celebrate, having garnered rave reviews from leisure and business travellers, the film & television industry and international media in its first year of operation. The theme of the night was ‘Dare to Disturb’. Party guests knocked on select rooms and were pulled into interactive skits performed by actors representing the hotel's five lifestyle-inspired décor schemes. The party fave was the penthouse suite, where Malibu method actress Dede was having a meltdown during a faux-Vanity Fair photo shoot.

New Manager, New Menu & New Year's Eve at Elixir
Fresh from a spectacular winemakers’ dinner featuring the most excellent wines of Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Elixir now looks ahead to a busy holiday season. Recently, award-winning Executive Chef Don Letendre took reign as general manager. His new winter menu features such oh-la-la-inducing dishes as Double Baked Goats Cheese Soufflé, Bouillabaisse with Saffron-Garlic Aioli, and - la pièce de résistance - Black Forest Cake with Sour Cherry Sauce. Book now for your holiday celebration. Coming in January: Opus Bar's Pajama Party II, where boxers, bathrobes and teddies are the evening wear of choice.
Opus rocks the music industry
The name ‘Opus’ comes from the Latin word meaning ‘a work of art or music’ - and not, contrary to his claim, from Bloom County's Opus the Penguin. So it's only fitting that Opus has become the place to stay for rock stars, divas, boy bands and some of the world's most respected musicians. In fact, we've hosted so many one-named divas that, in tribute, the hotel now goes simply by ‘Opus’. When there's a chance of running into a major pop icon in the hallway, why would you stay anywhere else?
No, Opus, we did not steal your name

It's all downhill from here
‘Sno surprise that only the most stylish ski bunnies and boarder dudes stay at Opus. Whether you're heading to Whistler for a few days of downhill madness or to Grouse for a night of skiing under the stars, Opus is the perfect place to park your poles. We all know that the best part of skiing is après-ski, and where better to tell harrowing stories of alpine valour while enjoying hot toddies (or a hottie named Todd) than Opus Bar? Click here to book your pre- or post-ski holiday stay in Vancouver.
Opus would like to wish everyone an unbelievably relaxing holiday season and an outrageously prosperous year!
