Star Search Opus Style
Are you a Bob, a Susan or a Dede? Opus Hotel is searching for a cast of personalities to represent its five lifestyle-inspired décor schemes. Cast members will be required to perform short, interactive in-room skits for party guests at an upcoming event on October 9. Opportunities to participate in other promotional events may follow.

The open casting call will be held on Friday, September 12 between 4:00pm and 6:00pm at Opus Hotel, 322 Davie Street (at Mainland) in Yaletown.

To great fanfare this summer Elixir introduced a lighter menu that replaced frog legs with such tantalizing tidbits as Grilled Squid Salad and Moules Indochine. Elixir and its eclectic neighbour Opus Bar have hosted a number of seriously high profile guests of late (you never know who you'll spot quaffing an Opus 97 martini, so keep your eyes peeled).  By now we've all heard how close the race to host the 2010 Olympics was and... blah, blah, blah. With 6½ years of hype left to go before the 2010 games, Vancouverites risk suffering Olympics apathy long before they arrive (think Ben & J Lo's wedding). We would, however, like to acknowledge the hard work and success of everyone involved in the bid. Opus looks forward to winning the gold in the Best Hotel competition (that's a category, right?). But don't wait until 2010 to visit!
