Changing of the Guard
As Opus celebrates its 2nd Anniversary, we are thrilled to announce that Daniel Craig, formerly Director of Sales & Marketing, has assumed the role of General Manager. “Together with my team I plan to apply the same creative and innovative approach we employed in marketing to all departments of the hotel,” says Craig. Former GM David Curell has moved to San Francisco to open Joie de Vivre's Hotel Vitale.
In addition, Opus Hotel is pleased to announce another exciting appointment: Gaetan Mousseau has been hired as Group Sales Manager for the corporate group and incentive markets. A Ripper* Corporate Event
Opus Hotel and Elixir Restaurant recently welcomed a spirited group of Australian media for meetings and menu tastings. This VIP group was in Vancouver to experience Ocean Spray's white cranberry harvest. Executive Chef Don Letendre created special cranberry inspired dishes and led a custom cooking demonstration. The group's favourite? The White Velveteen - made with white cranberry juice, Vodka and Frangelico.
