THE VANCOUVER SCENE Ruth Warrick once told me that a long-ago voyage on the Ile de France was superlative, which sums up the hospitality my canine cohort Shiloh and I recently received at the Opus Hotel. Located at 322 Davie Street in the tony district of Vancouver known as Yaletown, it is truly a dog-friendly Shangri-La. General Manager David Curell and his warm and refined staff do an exceptional job, with attention to detail that would win kudos even from Leona Helmsley. The hotel is immaculate and the décor is contemporary without being cold, both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Be sure to specify if you are bringing your dog and your pet will find a thoughtful stash of goodies waiting in your room... . For Media information please click here |
