Opening in July, Yaletown's Opus Hotel (322 Davie St., 604-642-6787) offers five different room designs to reflect the personalities of fictitious guests - like Dede, a method actor from L.A. who's into hip-hop and drives a Porsche Boxster. Her bathroom (and yours) is stocked with L'Occitane products from France. Also notable, a live video feed running from the Opus Bar to the restrooms that allows guests like Carol, a high-strung journalist, to keep an eye on her husband, Bob, a conservative high-tech exec (who has been eyeing up Dede all night).
