The luxury hotel company Opus Hotels, with locations in Vancouver and Montreal, offers a Dog’s (Bed and)Breakfast Package that includes a night in a stylish guestroom, breakfast for two, organic doggie treats, toys, a plush pet bed and a complimentary copy of Modern Dog magazine.

“We decided from our opening that we would be a pet-friendly hotel. A lot of our guests travel frequently and it’s becoming more common to bring your dogs with you. Family structures are changing and pets are becoming part of the family,” says Katrina Carroll-Foster, Vice President of sales and marketing for Opus Hotels. She estimates a minimum of three to five dogs per week are guests of their hotels…
