Canada Line will be an automated rapid transit service connecting Vancouver with Richmond and the Vancouver International Airport. Expected to be in operation in late 2009, Canada Line will allow passengers to travel from Yaletown to downtown and the waterfront in minutes and to the airport in under twenty minutes. Construction of the Yaletown station is now underway, and Davie Street between Hamilton Street and Pacific Boulevard is closed to vehicle traffic until the fall of 2008. Access to Opus driving eastbound on Davie Street remains open; follow the signs to valet parking at the front of the hotel. Please anticipate minor delays and construction activity. Pedestrian access remains open in the area. For further information contact Opus or visit Canada Line. |
